Churches Working Together in Atholl

Churches Working Together in Atholl

The Church of Scotland, Baptist, Roman Catholic and Episcopalian congregations of Pitlochry and Blair Atholl hold a variety of ecumenical events throughout the year such as Lenten lectures and the lochside Easter morning communion service. They send representatives from their own churches to others in the neighbourhood, join together to publicise church services and generally do as much as possible to break down barriers and foster understanding and co-operation.

St Adamnans Kilmaveonaig Blair Atholl

St Adamnan's, Kilmaveonaig

has had a church on the site since the thirteenth century. There was a village here too but the church now stands alone amongst the fields and hills.
